You need to create a database on the server through the hosting control panel, and then provide the database information (database name, username, password) in the configuration file.
Honestly, if you’re not familiar with these concepts, it will probably be challenging for you to install and run osCommerce. I would suggest finding some technical people to help you.

Most hosting plans have databases included. Is it asking for a database name? You might have to either create a new one in the admin of your osCommerce site then enter its name when you’re prompted by the template installation or enter a DB name of one you’ve already created. If you haven’t already made a DB just for your store, you might want to do that first.
